I hope you are well. I want to continue with this series of posts talking about places to eat in Oslo. I hope that if you live here or you are coming to visit, it can help you.
This time I want to talk about a place where I had the opportunity to eat a few weeks ago. It is in Tjuvholmen, a new area in Oslo very interesting to visit. The restaurant is in front of the sea, its name is Døgnvill. They mostly serve hamburgers and their fame comes from them. But there are other things in the menu.
It´s been a while since I wanted to eat there, I constantly heard what people were saying about the place, location and food, but it was always full when I was around. So I decided to book a table. I went about 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Lots of people, some waiting to get a table. We were welcomed at the entrance and promptly taken to our table. A very friendly girl was our waitress, she who took our order with perfect manners.
Regarding the food, I can say that maybe asking for everything we ordered is too much if it is not going to be shared. I ordered a starter, typical of these places and a hamburger. To finish I also had dessert, so maybe be it is a lot of food for one person. You may see below some of the photos I took …
Everything was very good. The burgers at the exact point, very juicy and very tasty. I also enjoyed the Chips. The desserts quite correct. All and all a very good place! About the price, I think it’s within the price for what is Norway. For about 40 euros per person, you can eat everything I ate Lol … But surely with less, you will not starve.
I hope you liked this post! And if you have any comments, I would love to hear them!
