Hello Again,With the arrival of good weather comes the summer holiday season. My last trip was to New York and it was during the first weeks of May, which are the best days to travel there because of the good weather. New York is a city that I love and always like to come back to, that is why I want to bring you some posts where I talk about places to visit and restaurant recommendations in New York that are going to be perfect for you if you are planning on going there on vacation or even if you already live there.
I’ll start with a place that was recommended to me by an American friend and it didn’t disappointed me. The place is called Crompton Ale House, it’s located at 159 West 26 st, about 4 blocks below Macy’s and the Empire State, which are quite popular tourist places in the city. You can easily go there by metro because it’s very well located, surrounded by different hotels and shops and quite central.
It’s a typical American bar where you can watch sports, for instance, we watched the Barcelona vs Real Madrid match. It’s a pretty cool bar where they treated us very well and super friendly. We went at lunch time, around 3pm, but you can also have dinner, breakfast & brunch.
We asked for 3 dishes to share because, as you may already know, here in America the dishes are a bit exaggeratedly big.
The first time we went we ordered the 26th St Sliders, which is a beef burger, the Skirt Steak Quesadillas and a Crompton Turkey Club. The second time we went there we also ordered some Crompton Nachos. I leave you below some pictures of the dishes and the place:

The food was very good, it may be too much food for one so I recommend to order to share. All in all, a place to come back!! The price is also very good considering it’s New York. It was around 60 dollars for two people with drinks and tips included. I would have one last recommendation: the Blue Moon beer. I tried it there for the first time and since then I am in love with that beer.
I hope you liked this post! If you have any comments, I’d love to read them!…
