Hello again,
I want to continue this series of posts talking about place to eat in New York.
This time I want to present you a place where I went to have breakfast, but you can also have lunch or dinner. We found this place by chance one day we went shopping in Soho.
Soho is a very known street in New York, located at the south central region of Manhattan, where you can find numerous clothing stores, etc.
This is a very small and super cozy restaurant where they treat you very kindly. It’s called Fiat Café and it’s placed on 203 Mott St., pretty close to the Metro Spring St and the main street of Soho. The food is italian-styled and a little European.
We ordered the Whole Grain Toast / Mashed avocado with eggs and extra Bacon and, of course, a very typical American breakfast: Pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup. Maybe I can say that it lacked cream to my taste. For breakfast we usually order a salty dish and another sweet one to share. We also ordered fresh orange juice and coffee and it was very good. Below you can see some pictures of our breakfast and the place:
The food was very good and the place is highly recommended, especially before or after a day of shopping in Soho, or even if your hotel is placed nearby. We spent about $35 for two which is not too bad of a price considering its location. The only negative aspect that I have to mention is that they only let you pay in cash, but you have an ATM right under the restaurant.
I hope you liked this post! If you have any comments, I’d love to read you!
